Veritas hires Ciesla

Veritas Asset Management has hired Newton's private investment manager to be its new senior private client director at its private client business.

Ross Ciesla who specialises in global equity and fixed interest stocks, joins the boutique as it develops its UK private client business.

Stewart Newton, director at Veritas said: "He will be a fantastic addition to the team. Ciesla's background and expertise will ensure that our transparent, rigorous and proven approach to investment management is maintained."

Veritas Private Client business manages £620m of client assets. Ciesla has worked at Newton since 1998, and will join Veritas at the end of the year.
