Kayhan Mirza, the former global head of foreign exchange options and head of foreign exchange trading Europe, Middle East and Africa at JPMorgan Chase & Co in London, where he was listed as a partner, will join Goldman Sachs as a partner and global head of foreign exchange trading, according to a memo seen by SRP.

Mirza will join the US investment bank in June and will also cover emerging markets FX options. He will be based in London and report to Isabelle Ealet, Pablo Salame, and Ashok Varadhan, Goldman SachsÔÇÖs global co-heads of securities division.

Mirza joins Goldman Sachs following a fourteen year tenure at JPMorgan and will succeed Guy Saidenberg who has been appointed co-head of commodities trading with Greg Agran to allow Mirza to assume the job.

Saidenberg will continue as head of EMEA emerging markets trading reporting to Ealet, Salame, and Varadhan.

Saidenberg joined Goldman Sachs in 1999 as an associate on the interest rate products trading desk in London. He became head of European equity exotics trading in 2002 before relocating to Tokyo in 2005 to become head of Asian structured products trading.

In 2008 Saidenberg returned to London to be head of EMEA emerging markets trading, and in 2013 was named global head of foreign exchange trading.

Saidenberg is a member of Goldman SachsÔÇÖs risk committee, the securities division EMEA Operating Committee, the sovereign risk committee, and the structured products committee. He was named managing director in 2005 and partner in 2006.
