Tech-savvy advisers and investors can now access fund data on their iPhones, via a free app from Fidelity International.

The app gives users access to fund prices, data and performance for each of the 1,100 funds available on Fidelity's investment platform FundsNetwork.

The app will allow users to check prices, facts, and performance data, save funds to a favourites list, and give views from managers such as Trustnet Alpha Manager Trevor Greetham.

The app so far has a four-and-a-half stars out of five rating in the iPhone’s app store, with three positive reviews.

"Developing an investment app made sense and means that advisers and their clients can keep abreast of the latest fund and market news, as well as track fund holdings," Peter Hicks, head of UK retail sales at Fidelity, says.
