Manager profile
William has co-managed Artemis’ two US long/short strategies since launch in 2014, which he currently does alongside Chris Kent (US ‘Absolute Return’ strategy) and Adrian Brass and James Dudgeon (Artemis ‘US Extended Alpha’ strategy). He joined Artemis in 2014 from Columbia Threadneedle, where he had worked since 2008 as deputy manager of the Threadneedle US Extended Alpha and US Absolute Alpha funds. William began his career in New York as an analyst at JP Morgan in 1997. He joined the research department at Lehman Brothers in 2000 as an associate where he covered the software industry for three years before moving to the proprietary trading group where he was a Senior Vice President and portfolio manager until 2008.
