Urs Beck joined EFG in 2014 as a Senior Portfolio Manager. Urs manages the New Capital Swiss Select Equity Fund and New Capital Multihelvetia. Previously, Urs was head of Swiss equities at Zuercher Kantonalbank (ZKB) and ran both institutional and retail Swiss mandates for seven years. During his tenure at ZKB, Urs received the FERI award for best Swiss equities fund for two years running (2013 and 2014). He has also worked at Bank Leu, Julius Baer and UBS, where he served in Swiss equity sales and Swiss Equity derivatives, respectively. Urs graduated from the University of St. Gallen and is a CFA Charterholder.
