Matthias Hoppe is a senior vice president and portfolio manager for Franklin Templeton Multi-Asset Solutions. He is responsible for overseeing European multi-asset portfolios. He is a member of the Franklin Templeton Multi-Asset Solutions Investment Strategy & Research Committee. Mr. Hoppe has over 18 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Franklin Templeton Investments in 2008, he was a senior portfolio manager at an asset management firm in Dusseldorf where he managed both fund of funds and health care equity portfolios. Before that, he was a marketing specialist for equity derivatives at a major German bank. He began his career as a staff writer for a financial newspaper, covering emerging markets, investment funds, derivatives and structured products. Mr. Hoppe holds a master's degree in economics from Julius-Maximilian Universitat Wurzburg.
