James is a Senior Investment Director at Rathbones. He joined Singer & Friedlander in 2006, migrating with the business to Williams de Broë which was subsequently sold to Investec Wealth & Investment. Investec Wealth & Investment duly merged into Rathbones in 2025.
Prior to 2006 he was a Fund Manager at Ruffer LLP. He is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.
