Christoph Berger

Christoph Berger is Head of the German Equity team, which focusses on our flagship fund Concentra and Fondak and the German Small and Mid-cap Equity strategies. He has been managing Allianz German Equity since June 2017 when he took over responsibility for the German equity franchise. He has been with the company since 2001 having previously successfully managed European and German mutual and segregated funds. He also worked as research analyst for capital goods and building materials/construction. He was top 3 ranked several times in the Thomson Extel Survey (Pan European Capital Goods) and he has both experience in institutional accounts ( since 2015 Head of insurance dedicated equities) and as manager of mutual funds with several awards in the years before 2010) He holds a Diplom-Betriebswirt (BA) degree of the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University Mannheim. He is a CFA Charter holder and DVFA / CEFA Investment analyst.
