Toby joined Baillie Gifford in 2006. After several years on the UK equities team and as an energy sector specialist, he joined the Global Income Growth team as an investment manager in 2013 and became the Joint Manager of The Scottish American Investment Company PLC (SAINTS) in 2017. In 2022, Toby joined the Portfolio Construction Group for the Global Stewardship strategy and in 2018 he joined the international Alpha Portfolio Construction Group. He graduated MA in English Literature from the University of Cambridge in 2006 and is a CFA Charterholder.
