Punam Sharma is Director, Equities for Latin America and Emerging EMEA and the Lead Portfolio Manager of the Latin America strategy. Her role encompasses portfolio management and equity research management responsibilities. Punam joined Fidelity in 2016 as a Director, Equities. She initially led the Greater China and Regional Investment Research team in Hong Kong, before relocating to London in early 2018. Prior to joining Fidelity, Punam spent 15 years in IDFC Mutual Fund India in various role encompassing equity research and portfolio management, overseeing $2bn of assets under management across a range of strategies. Formerly, she was at Kotak Mahindra Asset Management. Punam holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Studies - HP University.
