Manager profile
Mr. Sen joined the firm in 2008, and currently serves as Interim Global Head of Equities. He is also responsible for the Sector PM for financials and capitals goods sectors and a Portfolio Manager of the European Small Cap Equity Fund. Additionally, Mr. Sen is the Global Research Coordinator and responsible for leading the firm’s Beyond Macro effort that brings together investment insights from across asset classes and regions and serves as Chair of the London Risk & Capital, Audit and Counterparty Committees. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Sen was a Portfolio Manager at Brevan Howard where he managed the Financials long-short equity portfolio. He was a Managing Director and the Head of the European Financials research team at Goldman Sachs and a Managing Director and the Head of the European Banks research team at UBS Warburg. At both those institutions, Mr. Sen and his team have been ranked number 1 and top 3 for many years in surveys by Institutional Investor. Early in his career, he was an equity analyst at Fidelity Investments and began his career at Lloyds Bank International as an international banking executive and served in four countries. Mr. Sen received a BSc.(Hons.) in Electrical Engineering from University of Southampton, where he was sponsored by Ferranti Plc., and an MBA from INSEAD.
