Manager profile
Johannes, who has seven years of investment experience, five of which with the firm as an analyst, is the right choice to take over the Frontier Markets Equity Strategy. His long-term investment approach and deep interest and knowledge of developing economies has helped him deliver strong performance across a range of companies in the EMEA region and in frontier countries. Prior to joining the firm in 2015, he was an investment analyst at Arisaig Partners Ltd. for the Africa Consumer Fund, during which he was based in Singapore and Cape Town, and also supported its global and Asian funds. Johannes earned a master of laws from the London School of Economics and a bachelor of laws from the University of Groningen in the Netherlands.
