Norbert is an ESG credit portfolio manager in Invesco Fixed Income Asia Pacific. He is responsible for developing and managing the ESG strategy and portfolios in the region.Prior to joining Invesco in 2021, Norbert was the lead ESG portfolio manager for BlackRock European Fixed Income Team. He was a portfolio manager for the BlackRock’s ESG Euro Corporate Bond and European strategies. Norbert was also responsible for driving Asia Fixed Income allocations and single name selection within the European team. His portfolio management responsibilities also covered active credit, absolute return, short duration, and multi-asset strategies across retail and institutional funds. Norbert was the European Lead of the Global Fixed Income ESG Implementation Committee at BlackRock, driving ESG integration into various asset classes including Asia Fixed Income. Previously, he was a member of the BlackRock European Credit Research team, covering Automotive and Consumer sectors. He began his career at BNP Paribas in 2010 as a credit analyst covering Industrials and Consumer sectors across Investment Grade and High Yield. Norbert was ranked top 3 of “All-Europe Fixed Income Research Team” in Institutional Investor Magazine from 2012-2013.Norbert earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from London School of Economics and Political Science in 2010. He is a CFA Charter holder and has an EDX-Tsinghua Certificate for “China’s Perspective on Climate Change”.
