Mr. Egbert Nijmeijer is Head of the Listed Real Estate Team and Co-Head of Real Assets at Van Lanschot Kempen (with Jorrit Arissen). He joined Van Lanschot Kempen in 2011 as a Senior Portfolio Manager. Egbert holds a MSc. in Industrial Engineering & Management specializing in civil engineering. He completed the Real Estate management program of Harvard Business School in 2014. Egbert is a guest-lecturer at Harvard Graduate School of Design's Department of Urban Planning and Design on data science in Real Estate. He guest-lectures at TIAS Business School on innovation in Real Estate. He holds an Advisor position at Harvard/MIT start-up Apers. Apers is an AI autopilot for institutional real estate investors, created with decade-long real estate asset pricing and AI research from Harvard and MIT. And lastly, an active member of Urban Land Institute (ULI) contributing amongst other to its C Change project to mobilize the Real Estate industry to decarbonize. In prior positions, Egbert worked for the development finance department of Bouwfonds property finance and as an Asset Manager at a residential corporation. In these roles he gained experience with the Direct Real Estate Market and Real Estate Development. He started his career at Robeco as a Portfolio Manager where he managed Emerging Markets equity portfolios. Experience since 2000.
