Andrew joined CI as a portfolio manager in August 2001. He has over 30 years of funds management experience. Having spent a short period at Fidelity Investments in London, Andrew joined Merrill Lynch in 1994 where he managed Australian equity portfolios, including the number 1 performing portfolio from 1995 to 1999 (Intech Survey) with Peter Cooper. Andrew was a member of the team that received Australian Equity Fund Manager of the year in 1998. Andrew left Merrill Lynch to become Head of Australian Equities at AXA Australia in July 1999 where he was responsible for managing portfolios and overseeing a team managing $3.8 billion of Australian equities. Andrew was also a member of the Asset Allocation Committee.
