Katsuya Takeuchi

Katsuya Takeuchi, Investment Analyst, is actively involved in investment decisions for Japan Equity and the GAM Star Japan Leaders fund. Katsuya has over 15 years of experience as a security analyst. Prior to joining GAM, Katsuya worked as a Senior Analyst for Allianz Global Investors where he was responsible for covering Auto/Auto Parts, TMT, Food, Service, Retail, and long/short idea generation. Prior to that, he was a Senior Analyst at Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley Securities and held other analyst positions at UBS Securities and Mizuho Securities. Katsuya once had entrepreneurship challenge as CEO , and is a chartered member of the Securities Analysts Association of Japan. He is fluent in both Japanese and English and holds a BSc in Finance, Management, and International Business from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business. He is based in Tokyo, Japan.
