In August 2024, George became the Lead Fund Manager of the Waverton Global Equity Fund having initially joined Waverton in August 2023 as a US analyst in our equities team. He was previously at Brightlight Capital as a Senior Analyst on their US long/short fund, prior to which he spent 6 years at Ruffer as an Equity Research Analyst. He started his career at Ernst & Young where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant and worked in both the audit and corporate finance divisions. George graduated from Bristol in 2011 with a first class master's degree in Mechanical Engineering and also holds the Investment Management Certificate (IMC).
