Brendan J. Hartman is a Portfolio Manager for Royce Investment Partners. Mr. Hartman serves as Portfolio Manager for Royce Micro-Cap Fund and Royce Capital Fund – Micro-Cap Portfolio (both with James Stoeffel as Lead Portfolio Manager). He also manages portfolios in the firm’s Small Cap Opportunistic Value strategy including Royce Opportunity Fund, an open-end mutual fund. He also serves as an Assistant Portfolio Manager for Royce Micro-Cap Trust. He has 25 years of investment industry experience. Prior to joining Royce Investment Partners, he co-founded and managed a hedge fund for Rebus Partners. Prior to that he was employed by Cramer Rosenthal McGlynn, LLC (2001-2008) and served as Co-Manager for the Mid Cap, Smid Cap, 130/30 Fund, and CRM Partners LP funds. Additionally, he was a Senior Analyst, Equity Research with Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (1997-2000). He began his career with Salomon Brothers (1996-1997) as an Equity Research Analyst. Mr. Hartman holds a bachelor’s degree from Lehigh University and a Master of Business Administration from New York University. Royce Investment Partners, is a small-cap equity specialist offering portfolios with distinctive investment approaches to address specific investment goals. The firm has been managing U.S., global, and international small-cap strategies for more than 45 years.
