James de Broë-Ferguson joined Williams de Broë in 2008 with the acquisition of Singer & Friedlander Investment Management, which he had joined in 2006. He manages discretionary portfolios for individuals, private pensions, trusts and charities as well as Private Unit Trusts. Prior to this he was a Fund Manager at Ruffer LLP. He started in the City as a Hull Broker at Lloyd's in 1988, moving into Investment Management and joining Prudential Bache Securities in 2001. Having completed the Securities Institute Diploma, he is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Securities Institute.
