Julie-Ann Ashcroft is Head of Sustainability and Investments. She is the lead manager of the Balanced Bridge Fund, ASCOS Income Fund and Charity Strategies in addition to leading sustainable investment. In her role as Head of Sustainability, she is responsible for ensuring the integration of ESG analysis throughout the investment process in addition to embedding its consideration throughout abrdn's operations and business strategy. Julie-Ann has been with the business since 2007, joining following the Newton private client and charity acquisition in 2013. Julie-Ann is a CFA Charterholder and a Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments. She completed four years of PhD research at Imperial College, London after graduating from Sheffield University.
