Leigh Himsworth joined Fidelity in 2014 and has over 20 years of investment experience running high alpha UK growth portfolios. Leigh initially trained as an accountant started his career at Rensburg (now Franklin Templeton) in 1995. In 2006 he moved to Royal London Asset Management where he ran the company's UK Mid-Cap Growth Trust. In September 2009 he joined Gartmore to head up the UK equity team and to manage the Gartmore UK Alpha Fund. Prior to joining Fidelity, Leigh managed the City Financial UK Opportunities Fund at City Financial and Eden Financial (where the fund was known as CF Eden UK Select Opportunities Fund).
