Peter D. Sartori is executive vice president and portfolio manager for the Templeton Global Equity Group (TGEG) based in Singapore. He is also a member of the global leadership group for TGEG. Peter has 29 years' experience in the asset management industry. He started his career in 1990 at First State Investments in Melbourne Australia before opening their Hong Kong office in 1997. From 2001, senior roles at Scudder Investments in Singapore and Credit Suisse Asset Management in Sydney followed. In 2005 Peter launched his own boutique funds management company Treasury Asia Asset Management (TAAM) located in both Sydney and Singapore. TAAM was acquired by Nikko Asset Management Asia in 2014, where Peter was Head of Asian Equities in Singapore until 2019. Peter holds a Bachelor of Business from RMIT (Phillip) in Melbourne Australia and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia. He is a Fellow of Financial Services Institute of Australia (FINSIA).
