He runs portfolios including the Newton UK Income Fund, Newton Growth and Income Fund for Charities, Newton UK Opportunities Fund and Newton Multi-Asset Growth Fund.Christopher has been running UK Equity portfolios for thirty one years. He ran large pension fund portfolios at Henderson and Schroder for twenty years before joining Newton in 2006. He ran the best performing UK Equity Unit Trust in the IA UK All Companies sector in both 2007 and 2008 and was Investment Week Fund Manager of the Year in the Flexible sector 2015.He has been a Trustnet Alpha manager for the last seven years and was admitted to their Hall of Fame in 2016. He holds an MBA from the Manchester Business School.
