Appointment of Stewart Newton as Non-executive Director of the Company
The Board of Herald Investment Trust plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Stewart Newton as a Non-executive Director of the Company with immediate effect.
Stewart Newton is Chairman and a founder partner of The Real Return Group Limited, an investment group focused on achieving real returns and is a Non-Executive Director of Solon Ventures Limited. He also sits on the Investment Advisory Committee of The Wellcome Trust and is a Council Member at Imperial College, where he is Chairman of the Committee managing the College Fund.
The appointment of Stewart Newton falls to be ratified by shareholders at the Annual General Meeting of the Company to be held on 17 April 2012.
There is no other information required to be disclosed under section 9.6.13 of the Listing Rules in respect of Stewart Newton.
