Manager profile
William has co-managed Artemis’ US long/short strategy since launch in 2014, which he runs alongside Adrian Brass and James Dudgeon. He joined Artemis in 2014 from Columbia Threadneedle, where he had worked as deputy manager of the Threadneedle US Extended Alpha and US Absolute Alpha Funds since 2008. William began his career in New York in 1997 as an analyst at JP Morgan. He joined the research department at Lehman Brothers in 2000 as an associate where he covered the software industry for three years before moving to the proprietary trading group where he was a senior vice president and portfolio manager until 2008.
