Max Godwin joined Eastspring Investments, the Asian asset management business of Prudential plc, as Portfolio Manager, in February 2007. Max is a Portfolio Manager of the Japan Equity team and is responsible for “Smaller Companies” strategies. Prior to joining Eastspring Investments, Max worked at Pi Investments (HK) Limited as a Senior Analyst and Co-Portfolio Manager, he was also founding partner and Analyst for OAL Advisors Limited, advisors to the Rockhampton Fund, Tokyo. In the earlier stage of his career, Max was a small/mid cap Equity Analyst with Cazenove & Co (Japan) Ltd, Tokyo. Max has more than 26 years of financial industry experience. Max holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from London School of Economics. He is also a UK Qualified Chartered Accountant and is fluent in written and spoken Japanese.
